Face Plant Sunday

I went to the store this morning to get a refund for 2 items that I had purchased and they cost waaay too much. When I went to the back of the store to grab the bacon I needed for dinner, my stomach started to hurt really bad. I checked out and headed out to the car. I stopped and leaned over one of the pillars outside of the store to take a few deep breaths before I attempted to get to the car to sit down before getting back to the house so Skip could go to work. I stepped out into the parking lot and that is the last thing that I remember before realizing that I was falling. Apparently, I got to the dividers where there was a grassy area, and tripped. Needless to say, I landed smack dab on my face. A good Samaritan came over and asked if I was OK. He went and asked a lady that saw me come out of the store to call the paramedics. When he got back over to me, I was trying to sit up and he asked if I needed to call someone. I called Skip and told him that I had fallen down and let the man speak to him. While I was lying there, I realized that I needed to hit the bathroom, so I got up and walked back into the store. While inside the bathroom, a store employee knocked and was on the phone with dispatch. She kept telling them that I was disoriented. I told her that I wasn't. I was just embarrassed. I mean, come on, wouldn't you be after face planting? I went and talked to the paramedics and got the all clear. I came home and laid on the couch. The neighbors looked out for me and gave me some peppermint tea, which I have to say I will be buying! They also made me some mini homemade blueberry muffins. I am good now, besides having pains which indicate bruised ribs and knees. Hey, I am alive and I am OK. Don't know what made me fall like that, or what made me blackout or faint, whichever it may have been. What I do know is that I made it home and I am glad that I didn't have to run up an ambulance or hospital bill. Oh, and just an FYI,  dinner turned out very well, thanks to the bacon! lol
